In the days before
- Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids on the treatment area for 3–5 days beforehand.
- Ensure the skin is free of sunburn, open lesions and active infections.
- Disclose any metal implants, pacemakers or recent aesthetic treatments in the area.
On the day
- Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face (or bare skin in the treatment area).
- Remove jewellery and metal accessories from the treatment zone.
- Stay hydrated and eat normally before your appointment.
Important
- Disclose any thyroid concerns at consultation.
Immediately after
- Mild swelling or pinkness is normal and usually lasts a few hours.
- Keep the skin clean and moisturised.
- Apply SPF 30+ daily.
Over the following days
- Avoid heat, saunas and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid exfoliating acids and retinoids for 5–7 days.
- Contour changes develop gradually over 3–6 months.
During your session
