How It Works
After skin prep, the Level 2 TCA solution is applied. Tingling and warmth are closely monitored. The peel is neutralised with a calming mask and SPF to finish.

Before & After Your Treatment
Everything you need to prepare for The Luminous Peel (Level 2 TCA) at HiSculpt Aesthetics in Noble Park, Melbourne, and care for your skin or body afterwards.
One week before
- Stop retinol, retinoids and prescription exfoliating actives (unless your prescribing clinician advises otherwise).
- Avoid waxing, threading, depilatory creams and dermaplaning on the treatment area.
- Avoid sun exposure and do not use sunbeds or apply self-tan.
On the day
- Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
- Disclose all current medications and recent skincare changes at your consultation.
- Reschedule if you have an active cold sore, sunburn, open wound or active skin infection.
Important
- Level 2 TCA requires completion of Level 1 preparation — your practitioner confirms readiness.
First 48 hours
- Keep the skin clean and gently moisturised.
- Apply SPF 30+ every morning.
- Avoid heat, saunas and strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
- Do not pick or peel the skin.
Days 2–3
- Moderate peeling typically occurs over 2–3 days.
- Continue gentle cleansing and hydration.
- Mineral makeup may be reapplied once peeling settles.
Over the following week
- Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids for 5–7 days.
- Continue daily SPF.
During your session

Downtime
2–3 days of moderate peeling.
Results timeline

- Roaccutane within 6 months
- Active cold sores or sunburn
- Must have completed Level 1 TCA preparation
