Before & After Your Treatment
Everything you need to prepare for The Signature Resurface (Level 4 TCA) at HiSculpt Aesthetics in Noble Park, Melbourne, and care for your skin or body afterwards.
One week before
- Stop retinol, retinoids and prescription exfoliating actives (unless your prescribing clinician advises otherwise).
- Avoid waxing, threading, depilatory creams and dermaplaning on the treatment area.
- Avoid sun exposure and do not use sunbeds or apply self-tan.
On the day
- Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
- Disclose all current medications and recent skincare changes at your consultation.
- Reschedule if you have an active cold sore, sunburn, open wound or active skin infection.
Important
- Level 4 TCA requires completion of Levels 1–3 — your practitioner confirms readiness.
- Plan for up to a week of social downtime.
First 48 hours
- Keep the skin clean and gently moisturised.
- Apply SPF 30+ every morning.
- Avoid heat, saunas and strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
- Do not pick or peel the skin.
Days 2–7
- Significant peeling typically occurs over 5–7 days.
- Follow the aftercare protocol closely.
- Continue gentle cleansing and hydration.
Over the following weeks
- Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids for 7–10 days.
- Mineral makeup once peeling settles.
- Continue daily SPF and attend any follow-up review.
During your session
